Smaller jobs are charged by the hour, from £89 +VAT for weekday daytime work, with higher rates for evenings, weekends and out of hours call outs. Bigger jobs like a rewire we quote as one fixed price. Either way you get the number before we start. The full rate card is on our rates page.
Most homes take three to seven days, depending on the size, the access and whether you’re living in while we work. We’ll give you a realistic timescale with your quote so you can plan around it.
If you let the property out, yes. Landlords in England need one every five years or at a change of tenancy. If you live in it, it’s not the law, but it’s worth having before you sell or buy, or if the wiring’s a good age.
Always. Everything is tested, you get the relevant certificate, and anything notifiable is registered with building control through our NICEIC membership, so it’s there if you ever come to sell.
